Czechia raises income requirements for long-term residence permit applicants

The Czech Interior Ministry has announced new financial criteria for foreign nationals seeking to obtain a long-term residence permit.

Effective 1 April, long-term residence permit applicants will be required to prove the availability of funds that are 15 times €110.61, the average minimum wage in the country.
The submission package also includes proof of income through a bank account statement, other documentary evidence of financial security, or a valid internationally recognized payment card.
