ECA International names the world’s most expensive cities for 2022

Global mobility company ECA International has unveiled its annual list of the world's most expensive cities.


The ranking is based on several criteria, including the average price of household staples, rent, utilities, and more. This year, five Asian cities landed in the top 10 making Asia inarguably the world’s priciest continent to live in. The Swiss city of Geneva was rated the most expensive in Europe. 
So, here are the 10 most expensive cities in the world:
 

  • Hong Kong
  • New York
  • Geneva
  • London
  • Tokyo
  • Tel Aviv
  • Zurich
  • Shanghai
  • Guangzhou 
  • Seoul
