Greece Golden Visa Program

Investment required: An investment of €250,000 qualifies for a five-year residence visa, which can be obtained within two months from the date of submission.

Description: The Golden Visa Program grants a five-year residence permit in return for a €250,000 investment in real estate (one or several properties). A long-term lease may also be an option. 

Benefits for residence permit holders: The applicant's spouse and dependent children may obtain long-term residence permits with no additional investment required. The permit holder enjoys visa-free travel to the Schengen area and is eligible for a long-term residence permit upon expiry of the five-year residency visa. The return on investment is fast and high. 

Benefits for passport holders: Dual citizenship is allowed. The applicant enjoys all the rights conferred by Greek citizenship, including visa-free and visa-on-arrival access to over 180 countries and territories, public education, medical services, and more.  

Time allowed outside the country: To upgrade a permit to long-term residency status and to apply for citizenship, the applicant is obliged to spend no less than 183 days a year in Greece.
