Montenegro Citizenship by Investment Program

Required investment amount: from €350,000.

Investment by:

1. A €100,000 donation the form of a government fee; or
2. Investment by: 

• Acquisition of €250,000 in qualifying real estate in an undeveloped area of Montenegro, and
• Acquisition of €450,000 in qualifying real estate in the developed area of Montenegro (on the coast or in the capital).

Due diligence and application fees are additional.

Status:  Citizenship. Dual citizenship is allowed and the investor is not required to renounce his first passport. 

Description: This special economic citizenship program targets foreign investors seeking a passport of a coastal country in Southern Europe. Launched in October 2018, it is valid until 31 December 2021 and only 2,000 passports will be issued under this program. Passports are issued in three months. No language or history test is required.
